Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has revealed that the "I love Hockey" charm and the foot charm necklace have lead in excess of the allowable limit. Lead is very toxic to children even at low exposure levels. Children can ingest harmful amounts of lead when they chew, suck or swallow jewellery items containing lead.
Simi™ Accessories Corp.is voluntarily recalling the other 11 charms.
Neither Health Canada nor Simi™ Accessories Corp. has received any reports of illness or injury to Canadians related to the use of these products.
