Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Sherwood Marketing LLC.
3 Squares TIM3 MACHIN3 20-Cup/4-Quart Rice and Slow Cookers
This recall involves 3 Squares-branded TIM3 MACHIN3 rice and slow cookers with fixed power cords. The 20-cup/4-quart programmable electric cookers are stainless steel with black molded plastic, have a control panel/keypad on the front and measure about 28 centimetres (11 inches) in diameter and 30 centimetres (12 inches) tall. The 3 Squares logo is printed on the front of the control panel.

The model number is printed on a label on the side of the product. The affected products are ETL certified with certification file number 4009806. The affected products were manufactured from November 2015 until June 2016.
Improperly installed wiring can cause electrical shorting in the rice/slow cooker unit, posing fire and electric shock hazards.
Neither Health Canada nor Sherwood Marketing LLC has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to use of these products in Canada.
Approximately 96 units of the recalled products were sold across Canada and approximately 175,000 units were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold in Canada from December 2015 to August 2016, and in the United States from December 2015 to July 2016.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled 3 Squares rice and slow cookers and contact Sherwood Marketing LLC to receive a replacement.
