Product description
This recall involves only the staff/hook accessory of The Shepherd's Treasure Shepherd Boy with Staff toy. The shepherd figure has orange yarn hair, a white robe with a red vest and green sash and holds a fabric-covered, curved shepherd's staff/hook.
Hazard identified
The fabric covering on the staff/hook can come loose and expose a sharp metal edge, posing a laceration hazard.
As of March 09, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 12 reports of the shepherd's staff fabric unwrapping and exposing the metal wire with one report of a sharp edge. No injuries were reported in the United States.

The company reported that 10 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and approximately 800 units were sold in the United States.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled The Shepherd's Treasure shepherd boy accessory staff/hook toys away from children, dispose of them, and contact The Shepherd's Treasure for a refund in the form of a complimentary gift card.
