Product description
This recall involves the power adaptor model AD41-0301200DU, with UPC number 734409147140, sold exclusively with certain Department 56 Collectible Shelly's Diner ceramic collectibles in the shape of a building with an electrically lit interior and exterior scene.
The affected power adaptor is not used with any other unit in the collection or any other Department 56 product.
Hazard identified
The power adaptor can overheat and melt the adaptor's plastic housing potentially posing a fire hazard.
Neither Enesco LLC nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this power adaptor.
Number sold
A total of 24 affected adaptors were sold in Alberta, Quebec and Newfoundland.
Time period sold
The affected wall switches were sold from July 2012 to September 2012 at the following retail stores: Noel Eternal Inc., Quebec; The Wish List Gift Ltd., Edmonton, Alberta; The Spirit of Christmas, Banff, Alberta; Greengate Garden Centres Ltd., Calgary, Alberta; and A Special Touch, St John's, Newfoundland.

Consumers are advised to discontinue use of the recalled power adaptor and unplug any Shelly's Diner collectible with an affected power adaptor. Contact Enesco for return/replacement instructions.
