Product description
This recall involves seven-inch anflex grinding wheels that are sold as a five-pack by Princess Auto. The product has an item number 8190589.
Hazard identified
The grinding wheels may come apart during use, posing a risk of serious injury.
Health Canada and Princess Auto are aware of one incident with the product in which a minor injury resulted from pieces of the wheel separating and striking the user. No medical attention was needed.
Number sold
Approximately 2,000 units of the recalled product were sold at Princess Auto stores in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from February 2008 to November 2008.
