Product description

This recall involves a Schwinn 460 Stride Elliptical trainer that is identifiable by the UPC: 00709447505828. It is an elliptical exercise machine with a feature known as "variable stride" or "V-stride" that allows a user to change stride lengths without manual adjustments or machine changes.

Hazard identified

The foot plates can detach during use, posing a fall hazard.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this elliptical.

Number sold

Approximately 417 of the recalled products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from July 2008 to May 2011.
