Product description
This recall involves the Satori rectangle table identified by product number 88-0384. The table consists of a dark metal frame with a glass top surface and measures 152 centimetres (60 inches) long by 92.5 centimetres (38 inches) wide.
Hazard identified
Canadian Tire is recalling the Satori rectangle table due to a quality concern with the frame of the tabletop which could lead to a potential safety hazard.
Canadian Tire has received reports of the glass breaking resulting in injury.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to Canadians regarding the use of these tables.
Number sold
Approximately 6,851 of the recalled products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from January 2009 to May 2010.
