Dynafit Khion Ski Boots

Product description

This recall involves all models of the Dynafit Khion ski boot line: Khion Men's, Khion Women's, and Khion Carbon. All Dynafit Khion ski boots feature the word "KHION" written across the toe of the boot.

The ski boots can be identified by the following:

Khion Carbon Boot 08-0000061504 White ski boot with green and white buckles

Hazard identified

Potential safety issues with the Dynafit Khion ski boots have been identified, posing a fall or injury hazard.

Neither Health Canada nor Salewa North America has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 300 units of the recalled ski boots were sold across Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled ski boots were sold from October 2015 to June 2016.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the affected Dynafit Khion Ski Boots and contact Dynafit for a full refund or replacement.

For more information, consumers may contact Dynafit toll-free at 1-844-412-7013, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. MST.  Consumers may also visit Dynafit's website and click on "Khion Recall".

Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.

Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
