Stryker has become aware that there is a likelihood that the S-Series Equipment Management System Capacitive Touch Controls on the MFRs rotational electrical magnetic brakes may disengage with the use of an electrocautery device. The potential hazard associated is the boom may experience unintentional horizontal drifting with the use of an electrocautery device that could lead to patient injury needing medical/surgical intervention.
