Affected lots were produced between June 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015. They are most easily identified on the packages by the "Best Before" dates of "2017 12" through "2018 06". Lot codes can also be used to identify these packages, and these are found on the side panel of the package. The 1st 3 digits of the lot code will be between 152 and 365 with the 4th digit on all packages as 5. These are the only lot codes affected.
Hazard identified
As a result of complaints of an ammonia-like odour, the company conducted microbial testing that showed the presence of the bacteria Burkholderia cepacia (B. cepacia) in certain lots of wipe products.
This bacterium poses little medical risk to healthy people. However, people who have certain health problems like a weakened immune system or chronic lung disease, particularly cystic fibrosis, may be more susceptible to infections with B. cepacia.
Neither Rockline nor Health Canada has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
Number sold
Approximately 498,330 units of the affected wipes were distributed by SCA Personal Care to distributors and retailers across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected wipes were sold between June 17, 2015 and February 2, 2016.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled wipes.
