Product description
This recall involves a 9.1-metre (30 foot) retractable worklight with reel (model number 77203), ABS housing, heavy duty 18-gauge cord, mounting brackets and a 10,000-hour rated bulb with a 75-watt equivalent.
Hazard identified
The affected worklights are not certified to Canadian standards and have not been evaluated for safety hazards. They may pose a safety hazard to consumers.
Neither Fusion Products Ltd. nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these affected worklights.
Number sold
Approximately 531 units were sold at Princess Auto, First Place Auto Parts Ltd., Darpro and Tenaquip in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from June 2010 to October 2010.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
