Issue
Raz decided a safety enhancement action that we are implementing for the Front and Rear Open (FAR) seats. recently, an incident in Canada involved unauthorized modification of an FAR seat by a technician, followed by reinstallation without properly engaging the outside rear seat brackets. This resulted in one side of the seat slipping off the seat frame. In order to prevent this from occurring in the future, we have designed custom rear seat brackets that, when used in combination with Bodypoint's Frame Saver Clamps, prevent each of the Seat halves from shifting medially or laterally.
Raz will provide a retrofit kit and detailed installation instructions to customers for a safety enhancement.
