Product description
This voluntary recall involves Randy's Black Label Cleaner which is used on glass, metal and ceramic surfaces. The cleaner is sold in a 355 ml (12 fl. oz.) plastic bottle. The bottle is silver with a black and silver label. UPC 648658016402 can be found on the back of the label.
The recalled product may also be identified by a label in English only. If the label is in both English and French, then it is not a part of the recall.
Hazard identified
The recalled products do not meet the labelling requirements for consumer chemical products required by the Consumer Chemical Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
The lack of labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness, injury or death.
As of January 20, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents or injury in Canada.

Approximately 12,000 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return to place of purchase to obtain an updated label. The label is self-adhesive and may be placed over the non-compliant label.
