Product description
The product bears the model numbers 5310 RNF, 5310 RNFC or 5310 RNFW. The play yards have a RainforestTM patterned fabric, RainforestTM themed artwork and bear the "Fisher-Price" logo but were manufactured by Simplicity Inc. and SFCA Inc.
Hazard identified
The side rails of the RainforestTM portable play yards manufactured by Simplicity Inc. and SFCA Inc. may collapse unexpectedly, posing a fall or entrapment hazard to occupants. Fisher-Price has received 33 reports of incidents of side rail collapse in Canada with one minor injury.

Number sold
Approximately 1030 units were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The play yards were sold from January 2007 through January 2008 in Canada at retailers and specialty children's stores nationwide.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled play yards and contact Fisher-Price to receive a rebate. Consumers should immediately dispose of these items in regular household trash in such a way that they cannot be reused.
Fisher-Price Inc. has voluntarily agreed to conduct a consumer-only recall. Play yards manufactured by Simplicity Inc. and SFCA Inc., other than the Rainforest™ portable play yards, are not included in the voluntary consumer recall to be conducted by Fisher-Price. For additional information, consumers who suspect they may have the recalled play yards should contact Fisher-Price, Inc. at 1-800-432-5437 for appropriate information, or visit the firm's Web site.
