Product description
The unit is a water-based filtration vacuum cleaner for household use.The model is Rainbow® SRX®, RHCS19 Type 120 identified on the rating label.The affected serial numbers range from 22003399 through 22077889.The serial number is located on the side of the unit underneath the white barcode.
Hazard identified
The circuit board can spark, posing a potential fire and burn hazard.
As of May 25, 2020, the company has received one report of a SRX® unit catching fire in Canada. In the United States, the company has received one report of a SRX® unit catching fire.There have been no reports of injuries.
Number sold
Approximately 4,820 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and approximately 38,000 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from June 2019 to April 2020.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately unplug and stop using the recalled SRX® units and contact an authorized Rainbow® distributor to arrange for a simple repair that addresses the identified potential risk.
Consumers should contact the authorized Rainbow® distributor shown on the purchase agreement or call Rexair at 1-231-876-3399 to locate an authorized Rainbow® distributor. Consumers may contact Rexair LLC via telephone Monday through Friday, 10 am to 10 pm EST. Alternatively, consumers can input the Serial Number of the SRX® into a search feature on the Rexair website to identify an authorized distributor.
Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission's website.
Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
