Affected products

This recall involves the following two products:

  • Quicksilver Corrosion Guard Rust Inhibitor 92-802878Q55 (Product Code 05153 667354 604).
  • Quicksilver Light Gray Primer Spray Paint 92-802878Q52 (Product Code 05153 667356 604).



Issue

The recalled products do not meet the labelling and packaging requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintended exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury.

As of October 23, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to an authorized Mercury or Land ‘N’ Sea dealer for a full refund.
