This recall involves select PC® Cordless Glass Electric Kettle, 1.7L with the UPC 058703098701 and model number PC 3718. Only the following date codes are affected by this recall: 3218, 1218, 3917, and 1718.
Hazard identified
The handle on the kettle can loosen and separate from the body causing hot contents to spill, posing a burn hazard.
As of July 21, 2020, the company has received 4 reports of the handle detaching from the body in Canada, resulting in 4 reports of minor burn injuries.
