Ottawa, November 5, 2015 - Loblaw Companies Limited (Loblaw) is recalling President's Choice brand Ginger Cookie Chips from the marketplace because it may contain peanut which is not declared on the label. People with an allergy to peanut should not consume the recalled product described below.

The following product has been sold in the following Loblaw banner stores:

Ontario: Fortinos®, Loblaws®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Valu-Mart®, Your Independent Grocer®, Zehrs® and affiliated independent stores

Atlantic: Atlantic Superstore®, Dominion®, Your Independent Grocer® and affiliated independent stores

Québec: Loblaws®, Maxi®, Maxi & Cie®, Provigo® and affiliated independent stores

West: Extra Foods®, Real Canadian Superstore®, Your Independent Grocer®, Wholesale Club® and affiliated independent stores

What you should do

Check to see if you have recalled products in your home. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

If you have an allergy to peanut, do not consume the recalled product as it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
