Plush Cotton Candy Bunny Toys by Ganz
Product description
This recall involves one batch of plush Cotton Candy Bunny toys by Ganz. The plush toy is a pink, blue, and white bunny with pink velvet ears, pink nose, white whiskers, and hard plastic eyes. The bunny is 22cm in height.
The recalled toys have item number HM174 and batch number HL320H, which are printed on the sewn-in label. Only products with this batch number are included in the recall.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has revealed that the hard plastic eyes on the Cotton Candy Bunny toys can become detached; these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.
Neither Ganz nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these toys.

Number sold
Approximately 350 units of the recalled plush toys were sold at a variety of retailers across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from February 2009 to June 2010.
