Product description
This recall involves plush baby bottle holders that were sold under the brand name Lunchbox Bottle Pets. The bottle holders come in several models:
- Pablo the Monkey
- Emma the Cow
- Willie the Frog
- Lefty the Turtle
- Isabella the Pig
- Fern the Octopus
- Jerome the Lion
- Bo the Panda
- Alex the Leopard
The product is designed to have the baby bottle inserted through the body of the plush animal.
Hazard identified
Products that position infant feeding bottles and enable infants to feed themselves without supervision are prohibited by law in Canada. Such products can result in infants choking on or aspirating the feeding liquid. Unattended infant feeding practices are discouraged by Health Canada and Canadian professional medical associations.
Neither Lunchbox Goods nor Health Canada has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.

Approximately 2,577 of the recalled products were sold at various stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were distributed to stores starting in January 2008.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
