Product description
This recall involves the phil & teds traveller portable travel cot version 3 (V3). The serial number and product identification label for this product are on a top rail. Affected products will have a serial number beginning with TRV3RV. The product is a foldable, portable crib with four corner posts, a top rim, all black mesh sides, and a solid bottom with a self inflating mattress that rests on the floor. The product comes in both black or silver.

Previous versions of the phil & teds traveller are unaffected and are not a part of this recall to repair. Older versions do not include all black mesh sides and serial numbers do not begin with TRV3RV.
Hazard identified
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that these cribs do not meet the Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations in Canada and may pose a choking hazard. Specifically, the four plastic clips that attach the mattress to the bottom of the crib do not meet the requirements.
Neither Health Canada nor phil & teds has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these cribs in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 5,823 of the recalled cribs were sold in Canada by various retailers.
Time period sold
The recalled cribs were sold from February 2013 to September 2016.
