Product description
The recalled product is a 3-wheeled stroller that can be used to transport one or two children inline on a single stroller frame. The recalled products have a serial number within the range: PTRV0715/0746 to PTRV0815/2525. The serial number appears on a white sticker on the inside of the frame where the rear left wheel attaches to the stroller. The first four numbers in the serial number correspond to the month and year of production (for example: 0715 = July 2015). The last four numbers correspond to the frame number and increase with each stroller produced (0746, 0747, 0748, etc.).

Hazard identified
The hinge used to fold the stroller can become damaged during opening and closing, posing a pinch hazard.
Neither Health Canada nor phil & teds USA Inc. has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product in Canada.
phil & teds USA Inc. has received one report of an incident involving the hinge separating. No injuries were reported.
Number sold
Approximately 244 units of the recalled products were sold in Canada at retail stores and online.
In the United States, approximately 630 units of the recalled strollers were distributed.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from October 2015 through to May 2016 in Canada and from August 2015 to April 2016 in the United States.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
