Affected products
This recall involves Petzl GYM, PANDION, and PANJI harnesses. The harnesses are gray with orange and green sections to indicate proper usage and warnings. There is a bright orange leg loop for the left leg, a bright green attachment loop, and a black and white arrow pointing to the bright green attachment loop with capital letters that reads, “ATTACH HERE”.

Issue
A user of the Petzl GYM, PANDION, and PANJI harnesses may put the harness on backwards, clip into a non-weight bearing loop on the backside of the harness, fall from height and sustain serious injury, including paraplegia or death.
As September 12, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 1 report of an incident resulting in injury.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Petzl GYM, PANDION, and PANJI harnesses and contact the company to have the product modified.
