Petidoux Celebration Girl’s Summer Pajama Sets recalled due to flammability hazard
Brand(s)
Summary
Immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Petidoux for a full refund.
Affected products
This recall involves Petidoux’s short sleeve/shorts children’s pajama set, advertised as "Celebration Girl’s Summer Pajamas". The 100% cotton pajama top and bottom are white with an all-over firework print in the colours red, white and blue. The pajama sets were sold in sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12.
Issue
The recalled children’s pajamas do not comply with the flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.
Loose-fitting children’s sleepwear can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more readily than tight-fitting sleepwear, and once ignited will burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child’s body.
As of December 03, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
