This recall involves pens and bottles of correction fluid by Selectum. The recalled products can be identified by the following descriptions and item numbers.
Correction fluid in bottles:
- 20 mL bottle: item number 58103 (UPC 057447581036)
- 2 – 15 mL bottles: item number 58118 (UPC 057447581180)
- Dual application tip: item number 58107 (UPC 057447581074)
- 2 – 20 mL bottles: item number 58110 (UPC 057447581104)
- 15 mL bottle: item number 58105 (UPC 057447581050)

Hazard identified
Health Canada has identified that the recalled products do not have the mandatory labelling as required under Canadian law. The product lacks the symbol and warning required for flammable products. This lack of labelling information, including appropriate warnings, may lead to serious injuries.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.

Approximately 84,080 units of the recalled products were sold across Canada in 2009. However, the products have also been sold in previous years.
