Book Pop-Up Stroller
Product description
This recall involves the Book Pop Up stroller in the color Onyx with the manufacture number IPMS02NA62RO01DX13. The affected strollers are identified by the item number GCBO01NA79 and a manufactured date of April 10, 2017. Peg Perego is imprinted on the adjustable handlebar and bumper bar of the stroller. The item number and date of manufacture can be found on a sticker label located under the chassis.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these strollers do not meet the Carriages and Strollers Regulations in Canada. Specifically, the strollers contain barium in excess of allowable limits.
As of December 1, 2017 the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 72 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled strollers were sold from May 2017 to September 2017.
Place of origin
Manufactured in Italy.
