Issue
This recall involves one lot of Peace Naturals Project Inc.’s Spinach Fully Charged Tropical Pack infused pre-rolls cannabis extract and one lot of Peace Naturals Peppermint 75 CBD cannabis extract. These products were sold through authorized retailers in Ontario.
Hazard identified
The product labels have incorrect cannabinoid values. The total THC labelled is lower than the actual total THC for the Spinach Fully Charged Tropical Pack infused pre-rolls. The Total THC labelled and Total THC per activation labelled is lower than the actual total THC and the actual Total THC per activation, respectively, for the Peace Naturals Peppermint 75 CBD.
To date, Peace Naturals Project Inc. has received two complaints, one for each product, regarding the labelling while Health Canada has not received any complaints related to the recalled lots. Neither Peace Naturals Project Inc. nor Health Canada have received any adverse reaction reports for the recalled lots of cannabis products.
Number Sold
456 units of the recalled Spinach Fully Charged Tropical Pack infused pre-rolls were sold.
96 units of the recalled Peace Naturals Peppermint 75 CBD were sold.
Time Period Sold
The recalled Spinach Fully Charged Tropical Pack infused pre-rolls was sold from August 15 to September 4, 2024.
The recalled Peace Naturals Peppermint 75 CBD was sold from August 27 to September 4, 2024.
