Reason
A technical investigation has confirmed that CM0301B/K/R, Oxoid C.L.E.D. medium, lot 1599626 is out of specification for colour. The medium, once prepared, is pale green in colour instead of the expected blue/green. Bacterial growth recovery rates appear unaffected, however, it is possible that the colour of target colonies may be impacted e.g. Escherichia coli colonies may appear a paler yellow than expected. Continued use of this lot, therefore, could result in false negative reporting or incorrect identification.
