Olympus Pleuravideoscope LTF-160

Reason

Olympus is initiating this action to inform customers to stop the combination use of the PLEURA VIDEOSCOPE with specific accessories which were listed in the IFU. Olympus previously conducted an assessment of the physical compatibility between the accessories and the LTF-160, however, Olympus discovered there was no data demonstrating that the subject accessories are compatible for use with the LTF-160. Olympus has not received to date any report of injury regarding the use of LTF-160 with the accessories in table 1. Although the scope and accessories are or soon to be discontinued, Olympus is undertaking this recall in an effort to mitigate potential risk to patient health.
