Product description
This recall involves the Olympia 3-in-1 wooden crib distributed by Dorel Canada. Only the model identified below is included in this recall.

Hazard identified
The wooden crib slats can break, creating a gap, which can pose an entrapment and strangulation hazard to infants and toddlers.
The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has received 19 additional incidents of crib slats breaking. In nine of these incidents, consumers reported that their infant or toddler broke the slat while in the crib. In addition, a 22-month-old child fell through the gap between the crib slats when a slat broke. No injuries have been reported.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these cribs.
Number sold
Approximately 785 cribs were sold at Toys "R" Us retail stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled cribs were sold from April 2006 to January 2008.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cribs and contact Dorel to receive an alternate, replacement crib.
