Product description

This recall involves several models of Norco bicycle frames. All colours are included in this recall. The recalled model names and years are:

  • 2007 Team DH
  • 2008 Team DH
  • 2008 Aline Park
  • 2008 Aline
  • 2008 Atomik
  • 2008 Shore 1, 2, 3
  • 2009 Atomik (without gussets)

The model name is printed on a decal on the top tube of the bike frame.

Hazard identified

The bicycle frame can crack and separate, posing a risk of falling and injuries to the rider.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these bicycles.

Number sold

Approximately 1,800 of the recalled products were sold at various bicycle stores across Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from September 2006 to February 2009.

Place of origin

Manufactured in Taiwan.
