Affected products
This recall involves the pressure-cooking lid of the Ninja Foodi Tendercrisp multi-cookers. The Foodi multi-function cookers have a cooking chamber capacity of 6.5Qts. The brand name “NINJA” is on the front of each unit on the hinged lid/heat shield. This recall also includes any replacement pressure-cooking lids for these models that consumers may have purchased from SharkNinja separately as service parts. The model number can be found on the rating label on the back of the unit near the power cord. The Foodi multi-cookers' other functions, such as air crisping, are not affected by this recall.

Issue
The Foodi multi-cooker’s pressure-cooking lid can be opened by a consumer during use, causing hot contents to escape, posing a potential risk of burn injuries to consumers.
As of April 10, 2025, the company has received 5 reports of lids being opened during use in Canada, and no reports of injury. In the United States, the company has received 106 reports of burn injuries.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Ninja Foodi multi-cookers’ pressure-cooking function and dispose of the existing pressure-cooking lid to prevent use. Consumers should contact SharkNinja to transmit confirmation of disposal of the lid and arrange for a replacement lid.
