Affected products

Nemo Air Dive Computers

Product description

This recall involves select Nemo Air computers by Mares. Each computer has a digital screen that allows scuba divers to measure the time and depth of a dive, so that a safe ascent rate can be calculated. The computers also provide other information that helps divers avoid decompression sickness.

The following products are included in the recall:

  • Finished goods
    • Dive Computer Nemo Air (product code 414158)
    • Dive Computer Nemo Air with Compass (product code 414159)
  • Spare parts
    • Nemo Air High Pressure Hose with Quick Connector (product code 44200771)
    • Nemo Air computer Quick Connector Assembly Female (product code 44200770)

Hazard identified

An O-ring in the connector can fail and leak air, causing a continuous but slow loss of breathing gas. This poses a risk of suffocation to the diver.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these dive computers.
