Product description

This recall involves Nemco Isopropyl Alcohol Fuel De-Icer, which is a fluid packaged in a 350 ml plastic container. The recalled product can be identified by UPC 066095713508.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's auditing process has revealed that this product does not have child resistant caps as required under Canadian law.

The lack of child-resistant packaging could result in misuse of this product and lead to serious illnesses or injuries.

Neither Nemco Resources Ltd. nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this de-icer.

Approximately 1,200 of the recalled products were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from September 2009 to November 2009.
