Product description
This recall involves a children's robe and nightgown with brand name "Nass Girl". The sleepwear is made of 100% cotton.
The recalled robe has a hood, is blue or pink, and can be identified by model number HG3468 and UPC 149499000001.
The recalled nightgown is blue and can be identified by model number HG3478 and UPC 149500000033.
The model number and UPC can be found on the sales tag as well as a hang tag on the inside of the sleepwear.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has identified that the recalled sleepwear does not meet the design and flammability requirements for children's sleepwear under Canadian law.
Children's sleepwear that is loose fitting or that has loose edges can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more easily than tight-fitting sleepwear. Once ignited the sleepwear can burn rapidly and cause severe burns to large areas of the child's body, resulting in shock and sometimes death.
Neither Health Canada nor Nasri International has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this sleepwear.

Number sold
Approximately 420 of the recalled sleepwear were sold at certain Concept, Aubainerie, and Croteau stores in Quebec.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from 2009 until July 2010.
