Product description
This recall involves Mathew & Lauren collection cribs, identified by model 8700-700. The recalled product is a crib that can be converted into a double bed. The model number can be found on the product's packaging and on a label on the inside of the side panel.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these cribs do not meet the requirements of the Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations in Canada. Specifically, the mattress support system may dislodge resulting in a change in the side height. The change in side height poses a fall hazard for the child.
As of December 2, 2016, Mother Hubbard's Cupboards has received no reports of incidents or injuries.

Approximately 100 of the cribs were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled cribs were sold from January 2015 to November 2016.
