Product description

This recall involves mood rings with hearts on the band sold under the brand "Bague Cameleon". The ring turns different colours when it is worn. The product is identified by item number 07322 and the UPC code number 062823073227.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has revealed that the ring contains lead in excess of the allowable limit. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or illnesses related to the use of these rings.

Approximately 3,774 of the recalled products were sold in Canada.
