Product description

This recall involves "Momma Bird" plush stuffed toys made by Betallic LLC. The toy is a red and black bird with hard plastic eyes, a soft yellow beak, and soft yellow feet. The recalled product can be identified by UPC 030625703680.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has identified that the hard plastic eyes on the bird can detach; these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this toy.

Approximately 1,890 of the recalled plush bird toys were sold at dollar stores across Canada.
