Affected products

This recall involves the MitreBond Aerosol Activator can (200 mL or 400 mL) which is sold as part of a kit with the MitreBond Adhesive bottle (50 g or 100 g). The recalled product can be identified by the UPC located on the back of the product label.

Issue

The recalled product does not meet the labelling requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

The lack of appropriate hazard labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness, injury or death.

As of March 1, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and dispose of the product according to municipal hazardous waste guidelines.
