This recall involves Mineral Spirits sold in a one gallon (3.78 L) plastic container and can be identified by the UPC #621301621109. The product label is grey and green and displays the Gotham trademark.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's auditing process has revealed that the recalled product does not meet the child-resistant containers requirements for consumer chemical products under Canadian law.
The lack of a functioning mechanism to make the container child-resistant could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illnesses or injuries.
Neither Health Canada nor Les industries Gotham Industries Inc. has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.
