The products affected by this recall are Adams brand ride umbrella strollers
This recall involves Adams brand Ride umbrella Strollers. The strollers are red and gray in color with four double wheels and a removable basket under the stroller. The name of the model is directly inscribed on the side of the removable canopy (see photo).
Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that these strollers do not meet the requirements of the Carriages and Strollers Regulations. Specifically, the maximum recommended weight and height of the occupant is not indicated on the label which could lead to structural failure when the stroller is in use. The Adams-Ride Stroller is designed for maximum weight of 15 kilos and for children from 0 to 36 months.
As of May 8th, 2018, the company has received no reports of injury in Canada.
Approximately 119 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.
