Product description
This recall involves the toe piece of various Kingpin 10 and 13 ski bindings produced between November 2016 and December 2017.
The products affected are all Kingpin 10 and 13 models with a new Marker Logo on the toe piece in a gold or copper colour.

The serial number can be found on the back of the heel unit of recalled bindings in the ranges stated below:
- Kingpin 10: 337804 to 418632
- Kingpin 13: 337798 to 411728.
A Marker Authorized Retailer can confirm if the binding is affected by this recall.
Hazard identified
These bindings are being recalled because a pin in the toe piece can break, resulting in reduced release/retention posing a fall hazard.
As of October 4, 2018, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or in the United States.
Number sold
Approximately 2,200 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 4,100 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled bindings were sold from March 2017 to April 2018.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using these bindings and return them to a Marker Authorized Retailer. Toe pieces of recalled bindings will be replaced at no charge. Skiers should bring their boots to be sure their bindings are adjusted correctly.
