Affected products
This recall involves Visual Comfort & Co.’s Maverick Coastal 60-inch outdoor ceiling fans. The three-blade fans were sold in the following finishes: white (SKU number 3MGMR60RZW) and black (SKU number 3MGMR60MBKMBK.). A 6-speed hand-held remote control was included with each fan. The recalled fans have the SKU number 3MGMR60XXX printed on the top of the fan motor.
Issue
The fan blade can crack or break and fall off the unit, posing a potential impact hazard.
As of January 22, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 9 reports of the fan blade cracking or breaking and no reports of injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Visual Comfort & Co. to obtain free replacement blades.
