Product description
This recall involves the Masterbuilt 7-in-1 smoker in green or stainless steel with a Cabela's logo, or black with a Masterbuilt logo. The three piece cylindrical body design consists of a lid, centre body, and base which sits on the LP gas burner stand. It also has a porcelain flame disk bowl, water bowl, cooking grates, 10 quart pot and basket, thermometer, burner, a PVC hose and weighs about 32 pounds.
Hazard identified
The smoker's gas hose can disconnect posing fire hazard.
Neither Health Canada nor Masterbuilt Manufacturing LLC has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of the smokers in Canada.
Masterbuilt Manufacturing LLC has received five reports in the United States of the PVC gas hose becoming disconnected during use, including one report of property damage from a fire. There have been no reports of injuries.
Number sold
1151 recalled units were sold via Amazon.com and Cabela’s stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from April 2011 to October 2016 in Canada and the United States.
Place of origin
Manufactured in the China.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled smoker and contact Masterbuilt Manufacturing LLC for a free replacement rubber LP gas hose.
