Magnetic Dart Board recalled due to Ingestion hazard
Summary
Immediately stop using the recalled product and return the product for a refund.
Affected products
This recall involves Magnetic Dart Board consisting of a two sided material board with 6 magnetic darts (3 yellow/3 red). The dart board comes in a black round cylindrical container. The barcode sticker on the container is: 6954231460079 (this is our own barcode).
Issue
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that these toys do not meet the Toy Regulations in Canada. Specifically, the product failed to meet the testing for magnetic force.
When more than one powerful magnet is swallowed in a short period of time, the magnets can attract one another while moving through the intestines. This can cause the intestines to twist, creating blockages or tearing of the intestinal walls.
As of September 1, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Magnetic Dart Board and return the product for a refund.
