Product description
This recall involves the Lucas Championnière Facial Steamer. The hand-held unit consists of a chrome-plated atomiser and comes with two beakers, a funnel and a detachable handle.
Hazard identified
The affected products have not been tested to ensure they are compliant with the Canadian Standards for product safety and may pose a safety hazard.
Neither Équipro, Silhouet-Tone nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these facial steamers.
Number sold
Approximately 109 units of the affected facial steamers were sold at Silhouet-Tone and other retailers across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from January 2005 to December 2012.
Place of origin
Manufactured in France.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recall facial steamer and contact Silhouet-Tone. The recalled unit will be replaced with a certified Cirrus Vac Spray (410 506).
