L&P Apparel Inc. Girls Mid-Season City Jacket recalled due to entanglement and vehicular dragging hazard
Immediately remove the drawstring from the waist of the jacket to eliminate the risk.
This recall involves a girls cotton-lined mid-season city jacket containing a drawstring at the waist. The jacket was sold in various sizes (2t through 16) and in three colours (Passionate Love, Soft Pink, and Reed Green). The jacket contains an interior product tag that contains the style number (65267-65815) and the date of production number (1019 (A)).
Drawstrings on children's upper outerwear may become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.
As of December 13, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstring from the waist of the jacket to eliminate the hazard.
