Hazard identified
The plastic shell on the helmet can weaken over time causing the product to fail head impact testing. In the event of an accident, the helmet could fail to prevent head injuries, posing a hazard to consumers.
As of February 26, 2018, the company has received no report of incident or injury in Canada or in the United States.
Number sold
Approximately 548 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 655 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from December 2015 to January 2018.

Consumers should stop using the recalled helmet immediately and contact Louis Garneau Sports Inc. to return it and get a replacement helmet.
