SKUs: the SKU for 'Light Filtering' fabric is LZBL1002, and the SKU for 'Blackout' fabric is LZBL1003

Issue

The recalled blinds do not meet the Corded Window Coverings Regulations and pose a strangulation hazard. Young children may pull looped cords around their neck, or become entangled in the cords, causing a strangulation hazard. 

Children can become entangled in blind cords, which can quickly lead to strangulation and even death. Health Canada recommends cordless window coverings. For more information on the hazard, see Blind Cord Safety.

As of September 22, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product. keep all cords away from children and contact Hangzhou Jiputa Company for a refund.
