Product description
This recall involves the KULLEN 3-drawer chest sold in birch or black/brown colour. The Article name can be located on the underside of the top panel, close to the front edge, after removing the top drawer.

Hazard identified
The recalled chests of drawers can tip-over if not securely anchored to the wall, posing a tip-over and entrapment hazard that can result in serious injury or death to children. The chests of drawers do not meet the requirements of the recently updated ASTM Standard Safety Specification for Clothing Storage Units.
As of March 3, 2020 the company has received two incident reports with no injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received four incident reports with no injuries and two incident reports of minor injuries.
Number sold
Approximately 150,915 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and approximately 818,131 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from April 2005 to November 2019.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the chest if not anchored to the wall. Consumers may obtain a free anchoring repair kit to secure the chest of drawers to the wall OR may bring it back to Returns & Exchanges at any IKEA location for a refund.
